Mia Aldaya (Miami, Fla./Mater Lakes Academy | St. Thomas) guided the women's basketball team to the program's second Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference victory of the season as the Hawks finished 1–1 last week. The 5-foot-7 guard averaged 11.5 points and four rebounds in 33 minutes per game. Aldaya connected on 7-of-16 three-point attempts (43.8 percent) and posted a 2.0 assist-to-turnover ratio. She knocked down three triples and grabbed five rebounds against Penn State Behrend before finishing the week 4-for-8 from beyond the arc to help lead the Hawks to a 49–45 road win at Pitt-Greensburg.
