Hilbert College Athletics

Tyler Hassell (Men's Volleyball) and George Muriel (Men's Volleyball) are being recognized for their athletic performances that led to their team's success last week.  The Hawks went 2-1 in their opening weekend appearance in the AMCC vs PAC two-day cross over event.  Hilbert dropped a 3-set match to Thiel Friday night but rebounded with a 3-0 victory over Geneva and outlasted Chatham in five sets on Saturday. 

George Muriel (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg | Medaille | Buffalo State) had a strong showing in his first weekend as a Hawk. The 6'1 setter quarterbacked Hilbert to a pair of wins on Saturday.  He recorded 61 assists (7.5 per set on Saturday) while adding 18 digs, and 8 total blocks in addition to posting 12 kills (.250) and one service ace.
