Maddie Fusco (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) saved her best for last.

The May 2023 Hilbert graduate returned for her final season of collegiate competition as a graduate student. She was able to set the new Hilbert College 6K record at the 2023 NCAA Niagara Region Division III meet November 11.

Fusco’s 23:31.2 broke the previous 6K record set by Hall of Famer Kylie Reinholz in 2015. Fusco now holds the Women’s Cross Country program’s 5K (19:08.3) and 6K records.
