Kateland Ball had a fantastic series against Pitt-Greensburg Sunday and earned her first Hilbert College Athlete of the Week honor. For the week, the academic senior finished with 8 hits, scored seven runs and hit the cycle in six AMCC games. She led the Hawks against Greensburg going 5 for 6, hitting 3 doubles, 1 triple and a home run to knock in a total of 5 RBIs. The third-year player from Hammondsport helped lead the Hawks to their first AMCC win of the season in the opening game vs Greensburg. Earlier in the week, Ball had a RBI double and went 3 for 7, scoring 3 runs against Medaille.
