Hilbert College Athletics

The men's basketball team set a new standard for all sport programs at Hilbert College. The 2025 Hawks established both a program record and an athletic department milestone by recording the longest winning streak in school history. The team improved its overall record to 10-1 and remained unbeaten in AMCC play after securing a 71-62 road victory at Buffalo State, followed by a third consecutive conference win with a convincing 77-55 triumph over Carlow. 

Hilbert jumped out to an early lead before needing to play catch-up, then erupted with 47 second-half points to earn the nine-point win against Buffalo State on Wednesday. In contrast, the Hawks came out firing in the opening 20 minutes against Carlow and cruised to a 22-point AMCC victory. 

With pressure mounting to extend the historic streak, all 16 players rose to the occasion and contributed on the court last week, capping the success with a celebratory Gatorade shower for the head coach in the locker room.
