Hilbert College Athletics

Patrick Whelan (Buffalo, N.Y./Bishop Timon-St. Jude) produced big numbers over the course of three contests last week.  He was a very reliable hitter, played great defense, going 13-13 in putouts and helped turn one double play. 

The 6’4 1st baseman finished the week batting .545 with a 1.342 OPS, with two runs, a pair of doubles and two RBIs.  Whelan went 4-for-4, with a double and one run scored and knocked in as the Hawks earned a 6-2 AMCC win over Penn State Behrend.
