Hilbert College Athletics

Brenden Deady earned his first Hawk of the Week honor after his pivotal play in the net gave Hilbert their first NEAC win in men’s lacrosse this week.  The freshman from Albany, NY was credited with 18 saves in his 60 minutes between the pipes March 29.  He faced 10 shots-on-goal in the final period as the Wildcats were making a feverous attempt to rally.  But the rookie turned away seven shots and held the visitors to three goals in the fourth as the Hawks exploded for the 14-10 victory.
