Freshman Megan Smith led the women’s lacrosse team with four goals this past week propelling the Hawks to their first victory of the season.  The midfielder scored three goals for Hilbert in their 7-5 home-opening win over Wells College March 23.  She led the Hawks with seven shots (4 on goal) while blasting her free position shot past the Express goalie.  Smith also picked up three ground balls in the victory.  One day earlier, she tallied one goal off her one shot while scooping up one ground ball in the 19-4 defeat to SUNYIT.
