John Riviere-Vejas earned his first Hawk of the Week March 14.

The freshman INF had a breakout week in his first spring training week at the Ripkin Experience. The 5-10 rookie second basemen finished the week with a .500 batting average and 1.240 OPS with a home run over 17 plate appearances.

Rivière-Vejas also swiped a pair of bags, scored five runs and drove in four more.
