Freshman Kristine Twoguns ran her way into her first Hawk of the Week honor this year.

The Perrysburg, NY/Gowanda High School native set another personal record with a 23:31 5K time at the 11th Annual Meghan Memorial Race October 5. 

She stayed at the front of the women’s pack and took home a 2nd place (3rd overall) finish for the Hawks.

In her 3rd 5 kilometer race at Hilbert, she clipped 30-seconds off her recent 5K race at Roberts Wesleyan and more than 2 and a half minutes off her first collegiate race in August.
