Earning his third Hawk of the Week honor in four weeks, Hunter Martineau has been a driving force for the men’s basketball team this semester.
The 5-10 point guard totaled 38 points, sinking 16-of-30 shots from the field (53%), grabbed 19 rebounds while dishing 19 assists and nine steals in three games last week.
Martineau averaged 12.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 3 steals when the Hawks took a 93-71 victory against Houghton before they fell to Penn State Behrend (96-54) and Mt. Aloysius (75-70) in AMCC action.
The Orlando native dished a season-high 11 assists against Houghton, notched 20 points against Penn State Behrend and led the Hawks with 11 rebounds, seven assists against Mt. Aloysius when he shot 5-of-8 from the floor (.625).
Martineau is #2 in AMCC with 5.9 assists per game.
