Matthew Domagala had a great week on the trails and earned his first Hawk of the Week honor today.

The freshman from John F. Kennedy knocked 10 seconds off his previous personal best at the Mike Woods Invitational over the weekend.  The first year collegiate runner covered the 8K course at Letchworth State Park in 32:22.8 inching closer to the Hawks top two runners.

“He has been very reliable as a teammate and has led the freshman class with great poise and determination,” said coach Nick Orlowski.  “He works extremely hard at practice and it shows as he continues to improve his times each week.”
