Hilbert College Athletics

Sophomore Jerame Owens continued to be a steady player leading the Hawks in a victory over Houghton and in the road loss to Elmira. He shot 68% from the floor and was 71% from the foul line in Hilbert’s 1-1 week. Owens finished with 14 points and 7 rebounds in 28 minutes against Houghton and chipped in 18 points and added 6 rebounds along with 5 assists at Elmira. He made three of his four 3-point attempts and was a perfect 3-for-3 from the foul line.
