Nicole Plucinski’s tough defensive play on the soccer field lifted her to her first Hawk of the Week honor.

The senior defender from Marilla used her speed in the back third to shut down many of her opponent’s attacks on the flank.  She also generated several attacking opportunities with long-ball serves.

Plucinski was credited with three shots against D’Youville and a pair of shots-on-goal divided between the mid-week D’Youville game and the weekend match against Pitt-Greensburg.
