Freshman Emily Gawlak continues to find her nitch on the lacrosse field as she earned her second consecutive Hawk of the Week honor.

Gawlak led the Hawks to a 1-1 week and maintained her #1 ranking in Division III with a whopping 32 draw controls in two games.

The South Buffalo native helped the Hawks to their first win in three seasons scoring five goals and 15 draw controls in their 20-4 victory over D'Youville April 5th.  She followed that performance up with an 8 goal, 1 assist and 17 draw control effort against Lancaster Bible. The Hawks were down five goals in the last minute of play against the Chargers and, in a span of 26 seconds, Gawlak scored three times, two directly after winning the draw which added excitement to the final moments of the game.

The midfielder is ranked #1 in Div III for the third consecutive week with a 11.5 draw control per game average after posting a total of 69 draw controls on the season.
