Jeffrey Morgan earned his first Hawk of the Week this year after firing his career-best golf score at the Bradford Invitational over the weekend.

Morgan shot an 81 on a perfect day for golf and cut four strokes from his score at the Pine Acres Country Club from last season.  The sophomore from Hamburg led the Hawks to a 15th place finish in a well-attended event with 16 teams and 85 challengers.

Morgan finished in a 7-way tie for 18th place.  The top golfers finished in a 3-way tie with a 74 round on the par 72 course.  The Frontier high product was most successful with his irons that he used on the tight course which had fast and uneven greens.
