Paul Wujek had a fantastic week on the diamond and easily picked up a Hawk of the Week honor.

The senior short stop collected 11 hits and 8RBI as the baseball team opened their first week of AMCC action.  Wujek finished with .524 batting average, with no strike-outs and a .857 slugging percentage as the Hawks went 2-4 splitting a non-conference series with Elmira and Pitt-Bradford and falling twice to league leaders La Roche College.

The Lancaster native hit for the cycle in the Hawks 11-10 win over league rival Pitt-Bradford .  His first swing went over the fence; he followed with an RBI double, a pair of singles and then forced a 10-10 tie with an RBI triple (facing a full count) before scoring the winning run.

In his next set of games at Elmira, Wujek continued to pound the ball.  He went 5-for-6, scored three runs and knocked in a 3 RBIs spurring the Hawks’ offense.
