Hilbert College Athletics

Senior Jerame Owens picked his second consecutive Hawk of the Week honor after leading the men’s basketball team to another perfect week of play.

The 6-6 forward paced the Hawks to another pair of wins this week with 20 points and 15 rebounds per game averages.  He also led Hilbert with 5.5 steals and added 3.5 assists per game.   Owens opened the week with 21 points, 17 rebound, five assists and four steals in the non-conference win against Alfred State.  He followed that performance with seven steals, two assists, 13 rebounds and 19 points in the AMCC victory at Greensburg.

The Hawks retain their 1st place standings in the AMCC league at 7-1 and 13-2 overall.
