Hilbert College Athletics

Freshman Nichols Bentivegna earned his first Hawk of the Week award after an outstanding season-opening race at the Fredonia State Invitational held at the Lake Erie State Park.   The Rochester, NY native paced the Hilbert field of competitors and completed the 5K race in 18:31.59 to grab the 18th place overall September 6.  He ran the fastest Hilbert men’s 5K time in several years in his first race off the starting line.
