Shannon Memminger’s efforts on the court have been appreciated but not recognized enough this season. The senior setter, who has served as the Hawks’ primary setter her entire four years, had another impressive week quarterbacking the team to an unblemished record. The Amherst, NY (Sweet Home) native assisted on 90 of the team’s 99 kills giving her an 8.18 assist per set average. Memminger also finished with 17 digs, seven kills and four service aces in Hilbert’s double shut-outs against Alfred University and Pitt-Greensburg and their 3-2 victory over Penn State Altoona ensuring Hilbert’s second place rankings in the AMCC.
