Hilbert College Athletics

Sal Carrroccia earned his first Hawk of the Week honor after guiding the baseball team from the mound during their spring training week in Ft. Pierce, Florida.  The Lackawanna native pitched two complete games with split results for the Hawks.  He opened the week striking out three while giving up four hits in Hilbert’s 6-0 win.  Four days later, Carroccia took the mound and again went the complete 7-inning game.  This time, against Delaware Valley College, the sophomore shot down six batters while giving up four hits which resulted in two runs in the 2-0 loss.
