Junior Jerame Owens claimed his sixth Hawk of the Week honor after he helped propel the men’s basketball team to their second consecutive appearance in the AMCC Championship game over the weekend.  The 6-6 big man averaged 19.7 points (61% FG), 8.3 rebounds and three assists per game as the Hawks claimed two victories before falling in overtime Saturday.  Owens opened the week with 26 points hitting 9 for 10 at the foul line along with three assists and three steals against Pitt-Bradford to advance the Hawks to the semi-final game against Behrend Friday.   In the upset victory over the No. 23 Lions, Owens hit for 21 points and 10 rebounds while defensively helping the Hawks limit Behrend to their poorest shooting performance of the season.  Owens battled foul trouble in the overtime loss but found 12 points and 10 rebounds and sank two of three shots beyond the arc.
