Hilbert College Athletics

Don Vincent has served as the Faculty Athletic Rep (FAR) since the start of the 2011 academic year and just four years later, in 2015, he was selected by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to attend the 2015 NCAA Division III FAR Fellows Institute.  

Vincent is the link on campus between the faculty and athletes / athletics department.  He continues to look for ways to strengthen the relationship between Hilbert's faculty and our outstanding student-athletes who are already excelling in the classroom.

Vincent began his career as a member of the mass media where he worked in commercial radio. Combining that experience with doctoral training in the behavioral sciences, he is able to provide students with a unique perspective in the areas of integrated marketing communication, communication theory, and rhetoric.

Vincent's teaching objective is for students to become skilled communicators and informed citizens. We accomplish this by thinking critically about the messages we send and receive.
