Olivia Zureck joined Jamie Powell’s inaugural coaching staff in August 2018.
Zureck most recently served as an assistant coach at Fredonia State where she helped lead the Blue Devils to the SUNYAC finals during the 2017 season.
After completing her playing career at Roberts Wesleyan College, where she was a three-year co-captain, Zureck ranked eighth in career digs (1,511) for the Redhawks. She was named to the East Region First Team after the 2014 Roberts team made it to the NCCAA Tournament.
Prior to college, Zureck attended St. Mary’s of Lancaster and her Lancers were twice recognized as the NY State Champion. Zureck, a two-time co-captain in high school, was also named to the 2012 All Western New York team.
Zureck remains active in club and summer camp volleyball, as she maintains a relationship with St. Mary’s High School, coached the 13-3’s and 16’s age group for the Rochester-based Volleyfx Club in 2016-17. She has been named a coach in the Niagara Frontier Volleyball Club for this upcoming winter season.
Zureck graduated with a bachelor’s in cross-disciplinary studies with concentrations in physical education, coaching, and business from Roberts Wesleyan in 2017.
