Becca Shoemaker completes coach Stacey Smith’s first volleyball staff at Hilbert this 2017 fall season.
Shoemaker and Smith are former teammates from the 3x New York State Champions Eden High School volleyball program, and she was named an All WNY player during her high school career before moving onto Division II college athletics.
Shoemaker was the only player to compete in every set (417) during her four-year career at the University of Findlay. She appeared in 128 matches as the Oilers' libero and posted 1,473 digs (3.05 dps) for her career and 510 digs during her senior year which still ranks her 2nd in the program's All-Time stats. She earned 112 career service aces as Findlay qualified for four straight FLIAC tournaments and moved to the NCAA Tournament in 2014 and 2015.
Shoemaker earned a degree in Healthcare Management and minored in Business Administration and Gerontology.
