Emily Pasternak welcomes Megan Smith as her assistant women's lacrosse coach for the 2018 season.
Smith takes on her first collegiate coaching position since her graduation from Medaille College last spring. She was a two-year starter for the Mavericks after doing the same for the up-start Hawks in 2014 and 2015.Â
Smith earned Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) All-Academic Honors her senior year and was recognized by the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) as a 2nd Team All-Conference Player in 2016 and a NEAC Scholar-Athlete in 2017.
She is ranked #3 in Hilbert's All Time records book in Points (57) and Goals (54). While at Medaille, she collected 35 points her senior year off 32 goals.
Smith graduated with a bachelor of science degree in sports management in 2017.
