Warren Bush returns for his third season as the women's bowling head coach for the 2021-22 academic year.

Coach Bush was excited for the 2020-21 winter season after guiding the 2019-20 Hawks to the program's highest number of matches since the sport began NCAA sponsorship in 2017-18.

In 2019-20 Hilbert finished with a 7-27 overall record and went 4-14 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference matches before the coronavirus pandemic forced the cancelation of the AMCC post-season tournament.

Then the 2020-21 season was delayed until late February and an adjustment was made to the AMCC Round Robin schedules which split the conference into northern and southern pods.  The Hawks earned a Baker victory over Saint Vincent College and a Traditional match win over Penn State Behrend in league play.  Hilbert beat Medaille in a non-conference traditional match and secured a pair of wins against two Division II programs, D'Youville and Daemen.  The 2-4 Hawks finished in 5th place and missed being in the top 4 who advanced to the AMCC Championship Tournament.

Bush began his professional career as an elementary teacher in the South Seneca School District in 1987.  After 30 years of service, he retired from teaching and began enjoying his life-long passion - bowling.

Bush has served as a bowling coach at Classic Lanes in Kenmore since 2015 but prior to that, he spent two years as a Bantam coach at the Tonawanda Bowling Center.   Beginning in 2014, Bush took on a leadership role as the Director of Tonawanda’s USBC (United States Bowling Congress) where he chaired the Youth Committee and Youth Tournament Committees.

Bush became an NCAA Bowling Official in 2015 and has certified multiple dual and tournaments, which have been held in the Western New York area over the last four years.

Bush earned his bachelor’s degree in elementary education from SUNY, College at Fredonia before earning his master’s in education in 1990.
