Miranda Fish will complete the Hilbert College Sports Medicine staff when she joins the Athletics Department August 1st, 2023.
Fish recently graduated from Castleton University with a master’s degree of Athletic Training in May 2023 after collecting a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in 2022.
She has multiple clinical experiences to draw from having just recently worked at the Castleton Community Health Center, and the Vermont Orthopedic Clinic in addition to serving as the athletic trainer for several Castleton University Division III athletic programs (men’s and women’s lacrosse, women’s soccer, women’s ice hockey, and softball) while earning her master’s degree.
Fish was also a five-year softball player for the Spartans, losing one season to Covid and 2022 to a season ending injury. She started 95 of the 105 games played and graduated with a .305 career batting average while connecting for 91 hits, scoring 56 runs and driving in 70 runs.
The Getzville, N.Y. (Williamsville North) native earned the 2023 Brigette Olsen Award for commitment and leadership on and off the field and within the community.
