Hilbert College Athletics

Terry Szucs joined coach Ted Egger's staff prior to the start of the 2024 season.  This marks the second time Szucs and Egger will work together on the field.

Coach Szucs brings 49 years of experience to the Hawks after coaching both sides of the ball with stops at the Junior College, the Division II and Division I levels.

The New Jersey native spent time in the United States Marine Corps before enrolling at Lock Haven State University.   Szucs played for the Division II Bald Eagles football team while earning his degree and then began his coaching career at his alma mater the following year.  

Szucs previously coached Egger when they were together at Lock Haven in the late 1990's and had the opportunity to participate in seven Bowl Games during his tenure.

Coach Szucs and his wife Paula reside in Pennsylavnia and have two daughters, Leigh and Vanessa.
