Luke Tasker

Luke Tasker joins coach Kubiak's football staff as the Hilbert Hawks’ wide receiver coach.

After graduating from St. Francis High School in 2009, Tasker continued his academic and athletic careers at Cornell University.  He saw action in all 40 contests for the Big Red and graduated as the program’s 2nd All-Time leading receiver in school history.  He averaged 14.5 yards in 171 attempts amassing 2,482 total years.

He continues to hold the Single-Game Yards record (280 yards {11 catches}  v. Monmouth, 2012) and appears two more times in the top 11.  Tasker is ranked #5 in Season touchdowns (8, 2012), and #7 in Career touchdowns (13).  In addition, he hauled in 75 receptions in 2012, ranking him #3 in All-Time Season receptions and #4 in Career receptions (171).

After graduation, Tasker went undrafted to the San Diego Chargers training camp.  Upon his release, he was signed by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League and played from 2013 through 2019.  At the conclusion of the 2018 season, Tasker was named a CFL All-Star after he recorded over 1,000 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns.

In 2021, Tasker served as the color analyst for the Ticats-Audio Network covering the radio and digital medial production for the Tiger-Cats’ season.

Tasker graduated from Cornell in 2012 and received a bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in business.
