John Scibetta will be entering his first season at Hilbert College as the Offensive Line/Tight End Coach and Run Game Coordinator.
In addition to his position at Hilbert College, he is currently an instructor at the Western New York Quarterback Academy, a volunteer consultant at Patrick Henry High School in Ashland, Virginia, and conducts private offensive line lessons.
Scibetta has been coaching for 40 years in the Buffalo area, with 31 years accounted for at St. Francis High School where his main duties included Offensive coordinator, Quarterback and Offensive Line Coach.
Some notable quarterback and offensive line players Scibetta coached and assisted during his coaching career includes Jim Kubiak, Navy (NFL); Jake Dolegala, CCSU (NFL); Jamie Jayes, Michigan State; Tight End Chris Manhertz (NFL currently on the Jacksonville Jaguars); and Dave Hack , U of Maryland (CFL).
He attributes his success and experience to his coaching mentors, Coach Ray Karney at Bishop Turner/St. Francis and legendary NFL Offensive Line Coach Jim McNally.
Scibetta attended Bishop Turner High School and earned his associate degree in Radiologic Technology at Trocaire College.Â
