FSSJ Field Complex - SOFTBALL

Hilbert College's Board of Trustees honored the Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph with the naming of the sports complex in 2021.

The Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph, rooted in education, teaching and service to others, founded Hilbert College in 1957. This campus has serviced thousands of Hilbert students with the soil supporting more than the foundations for buildings. It provides a foundation for inspiration which is rich in a history of compassion, dedication and love that the Sisters have for Hilbert College. The inspiration and legacy of the Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph will live on in the words of Mother Collette Hilbert "All Things - Charity".

On April 13, 2025, the Athletics Department honored two families who have been instrumental in their support for the Hawks softball program.

Diana Weiss and her late husband Roger, the first male graduate from Hilbert College, and the Eugene Stolowski family have provided unwavering support of the softball program, and their gifts have allowed the program to install new outfield windscreens, bleachers and a beautiful press box. The program has also been able to upgrade the sound system and video equipment.
