Hilbert College added Esports in the fall of 2024 to enhance the student-athlete experience on campus.
The Esports program is housed in the Franciscan Hall Hawkade, equipped with gaming equipment and comfortable seating for players. The dedicated space will foster a sense of community and provide student-athletes with the resources they need to excel.
The Esports program also offers a clear path for students enrolled in the college's Esports Management minor. This interdisciplinary program allows students to explore the business aspects of the Esports industry, covering topics such as marketing, event management, and sponsorship acquisition.
Students in the minor will gain valuable insights that can be directly applied to their involvement in the Esports program, providing them with a well-rounded understanding of the competitive gaming landscape.
