Hilbert College Athletics

Thanks to a partnership between Hilbert College and the Town of Hamburg, the Nike Base Ice Rink has served as the primary home practice and competition facility since 2023.  The rink is situated in the Town of Hamburg Recreation Complex located at 2982 Lakeview Road just six miles from Hilbert's Hamburg campus. 

RINK AND FACILITY ENHANCEMENTS

Shortly after the agreement was in place for the Hawks Ice Hockey team to begin using the ice rink, the Town of Hamburg made several enhancements in an effort to bring the venue up to a standard for collegiate competition. These enhancements included the repositioning and painting of the ice pad, new boards and glass, new speakers inside the ice rink and interior painting throughout the building.  The meeting space and entrance to the building will be redesigned in the near future as well as locker room enhancements.
