2nd season at Hilbert

Brandon Bitka enters his second year leading the Hilbert College Women's Lacrosse program in the 2025-26 academic year.

In his first season with the Hawks, Bitka guided the team to its first victory since the 2018 season (the first of his collegiate career), as well as a second-consecutive AMCC postseason appearance. Skylar Holzman earned her second straight AMCC All-Conference nod, to become the first All-League player under Bitka's guidance, while Olivia Cleary set a new single-season record with a .471 save percentage and shifted to the all-time leader with .457 save percentage in two seasons

After navigating a pandemic-reduced career on the turf for the Hawks, Bitka returned to the sidelines to help coach, motivate, teach and share his passion for the game under men's head coach Mike Carbery.

The Amherst High School graduate was a four-year member of the men's lacrosse program, a two-year captain, and helped lead the Hawks to two North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) post-season tournaments.

Bitka appeared in 26 games, scored 24 goals, added 14 assists (40 points) while scooping 20 ground balls and causing six turnovers.  He missed his 2020 sophomore champagne due to injury, started all four games in the 2021 Covid-reduced schedule and flourished his senior year earning 23 points.

Bitka, the Hawks' representative on the 2022 NEAC All-Sportsmanship team, graduated with a sports management degree from Hilbert and earned his Master's in Sport Administration from Canisius Canisius University in 2024.
