HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tomcats got on the board just 90-seconds into the opening quarter, but Stoddard kept her balance advancing to the frame and scooped the ball to the back of the net just 55-seconds later.
- Thiel went up by one goal midway through the period, yet Pembleton knotted the game at 2-all off a free position goal at 4:33.
- Thiel went on a four-goal run before Calandra powered her way to the point and snuck one past the Tomcat goalie at 11:16 in the second quarter.
- Hilbert played tough defense and kept their defensive lanes but found themselves down 9-3 by intermission.
- Matuszak did a great job sprinting the sidelines for clears, but the Hawks were unable to consistently go to the frame to get powerful shots in the second half.
- Thiel's quickness and pace contributed to their ability to tack six unanswered goals on by the final horn.

- Hilbert was credited 15 CT while Thiel finished the game with 19 turnovers.
