Madigan, McKinnon, and Schiller Earn All-Conference Recognition

HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference released the 2025 Women's Volleyball Postseason honors this morning and three Hawks earned All-Conference recognition.

Freshman Lindsay Madigan (Warren, Pa/Warren Area) was named Co-Newcomer of the Year and was placed on the Second Team, while Senior Molly McKinnon (Williamsville, NY Williamsville South | SUNY Erie) and sophomore Jade Schiller (Marysville, MI Marysville) were named to the Third Team.

Alfred State's Gloria Stem joined Madigan as Co-Newcomer of the Year and Mount Aloysius' Molly Richards (Player of the Year) and Brianna Baker (Coach of the Year) rounded out the individual awards.

Madigan, a first-year setter, did it all for the Hawks in her rookie campaign on her way to earning Co-Newcomer of the Year honors, as well as a Second-Team All-Conference nod. Madigan led Hilbert with 320.5 points and her 395 assists, 306 digs, 58 service aces, 2.72 points per set, and 248 kills were all good enough for top three on the Hawks. Madigan was the only AMCC player this year to total at least 300 points and 300 assists, and her seven triple-doubles currently tie her for the Division III lead. She was named AMCC Offensive Player of the Week on November 10th.  The 5'3 spark plug has already moved into the women's volleyball program's all-time Top 10 list in seven different categories.

McKinnon, who completed her second season with the Hawks this fall, earned her first-career AMCC postseason honor after a successful senior season. The 5-8 outside hitter led the Hawks with 264 kills and 2.73 points per set. In conference play, her 103 points and 83 kills were each good for seventh in the AMCC. McKinnon recorded 396 digs on the season as she eclipsed the 1,000-career dig mark on October 18th between SUNY Erie and Hilbert.  In her two-year Hilbert career, McKinnon moved into the all-time record book in seven different categories; her 2.18 kills per set placed her highest at #3 while her 1,004 attack attempts in 2025 set a new single season record for the program.

Schiller, a AMCC Third-Team honoree, set a new Hilbert Women's Volleyball defensive standard in her second season with the Hawks. The 5-4 libero shattered the previous single-season digs record with her 562 digs this fall. She also finished the 2025 campaign holding the program record for most digs per set in a single season with 4.72. Schiller's 168 digs in AMCC play find her atop the conference's leaderboard, while she also ranked third with 4.94 digs per set. Schiller led a Hilbert defense that topped the AMCC with 2,143 digs.

These three Hawks were key contributors to a team that established 13 new single-season records, along with setting program marks for most wins and fewest losses in a season. The 20–11 Hawks also captured the program's first postseason victory, earning them a place in the program's first-ever AMCC semifinal appearance.
