HOW IT HAPPENED
-
Hilbert looked good out of the gate, building an 11-5 lead and never trailed until Greensburg stacked five points together to build a 22-19 lead. Hilbert regained the leads (24-23 and 25-24) and won the game off a McLean kill as well as a Bobcat attack error.
-
Greensburg took control in the second set, building a 21-10 advantage as they rolled to a 25-15 win.
-
Hilbert, trailing early, found their way back into the third set, 16-12 off a kill and service ace. The Bobcats put a three-point run plus a six-point stretch to win 25-13.
-
Hilbert was very competitive in the fourth set, staying within striking distance (10-8), but for every one Hilbert sideout the Bobcats stacked two or three points together for the 25-15 match victory.
