CRESSON, Pa. – The Hilbert Men's Soccer team, down 6-nil at intermission, dropped an AMCC match at Mount Aloysius this afternoon.
The Mounties (5-0-1) remain in a two-way tie for 1st place with Penn State Behrend, with one game remaining on the regular season schedule.
The Hawks (2-4-0) have secured a spot in the AMCC post-season tournament, and their seeding will be determined when all conference games are played out on Tuesday, October 25th.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Mount Aloysius scored their first goal about 20 minutes into the game and then poured three more hits to the back of the net in a span of five minutes before closing the opening period with a 6-nil lead.
- The Mounties tacked on three more scores late in the second half for the win.
- Carter Burke centered the ball on the first corner kick in the game four minutes into the contest and he was credited with the Hawks solo shot in the period.

- Logan Peck was credited with nine saves as the Hawks were out shot 32-2
UP NEXT
The Hawks host their final game of the regular season in the Hawks Nest. Hilbert welcomes Alfred State College Tuesday, October 25 in a 3pm contest. The Pioneers currently sit in 4th place with a 3-2-1 league record while Hilbert (2-4) is in a two-way tie with Penn State Altoona for 5th place.
The First Round games (No. 6 at No. 3 and No. 5 at No. 4) will be played on Saturday, October 29. The winners advance to the semifinal games hosted by No. 1 and No. 2 seeds (November 2). The highest remaining seed will host the title game on Saturday, November 5.
