HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Hilbert College Women's Volleyball suffered a 3-0 set back to Penn State Behrend in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference play tonight.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hilbert earned 22 points, 16 kills, four service aces, two blocks, and 25 digs.
- Katie Kociszewski and McKenna Rice led with four kills each and Michaela Rice earned two of Hilbert's service aces as well as leading with five digs. Kociszewski and Jenna Revak combined in both Hilbert's block assists.
- Behrend opened the match with an 8-0 lead before Kociszewski sent one to the ground from the middle. McKenna and Michaela (service ace) Rice earned one more kill apiece as Kociszewski and Maria Spinelli finalized Hilbert's scoring, falling 25-14.
- The second set was very competitive early on. The Hawks earned the first two points and took a 5-4 lead before falling behind by two points (7-5). The Hawks hung around until the Lions went on a 7-1 run which built a 20-10 margin. Hilbert earned two service aces and six kills, two by Kociszewski, and two each by the Rice sisters in the middle 25-11 loss.
- The Hawks found themselves down 7-1 and then traded serves for a few possessions before Behrend padded their lead with mini three-to-four-point runs. Down 17-6, Jaden Helbig served the team to a 17-10 score with Kara Valvo earning the one kill in that run. The Lions kept pushing and took the final set 25-13.

Hilbert continues to roll at home this week when they host Cazenovia College on Thursday, October 20 and close the week with another AMCC game Saturday, October 22 against Mount Aloysius at 11:00 am in the Hafner Recreation Center.
