PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The Hilbert College men's soccer team dropped a 9-0 non-conference defeat to Nazareth College tonight under the lights in the Rochester suburb.

THE BASICS

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Nazareth didn't waste time putting a point on the score board after connecting before the two minute mark in the opening stanza.  The hosts then added two more in a span of 20 seconds in the 12th minute of the game.
• Hilbert trailed by six goals before intermission and found themselves down by three more scores before the final horn.

GAME NOTES

• The Empire 8 opponent dominated play in shots and corner kicks.  The Hawks were credited with 11 saves while Nazareth's goal keeper didn't see much action in the box.
• Hector Harris was credited with Hilbert's only shot from the turf. 
• Ben Chowaniec, who earned his first start in goal, made seven saves before retiring at half time.  
• Logan Peck covered the frame early in the second half before freshman Jonathan Brito closed the contest making one save in just under 18 minutes of action.
