HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Hilbert College Men's Soccer team came up short against the hot Medaille Mavericks this afternoon in a cross-town, Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference contest.

The visiting Mavericks put on a scoring display as they dropped the Hawks at home.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Medaille notched their first goal just forty-one seconds into the game and added five more before the break.
• The Mavericks tacked four more markers after the break with three over a seven minute span.
• The visiting baby-blue's pushed one final point on the score board in the 89^th minute when the game was already out of reach.

GAME NOTES
 

• Medaille held a 45-5 advantage in shots, with a 28-1 edge in shots on goal.
• The Hawks attempted three corner kicks while Medaille worked for five.
• Logan Peck took the loss, making eight saves in the first 45 minutes and Ben Chowaniec finished the second period with nine saves.
• Hector Harris led the Hawks with two shots, his first rocketed off the cross bar mid-way through the first half.
• Reese Tomporowski was credited with Hilbert's solo shot on goal six minutes into the contest.
