HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Hawks men's soccer team took on SUNY Geneseo this afternoon and despite a strong showing by goal keeper Logan Peck, Hilbert dropped the match 4-0

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Geneseo controlled the pace and space on the field throughout the non-conference match.
• The Knights got on the score board at 17:39 and then followed with a pair by the 27th minute, taking a 3-nil lead to intermission.
• Hilbert responded in spurts in the second half yet didn't possess the ball more than 60 seconds at a time.
• Geneseo tacked their final point in the 52nd minute but continued to look for scores.
• Logan Peck was credited with seven saves in the final 38-minutes in the game.

GAME NOTES

•  Geneseo built a 50-3 advantage in shots and 14-2 in corner kicks.
• Hilbert's three shots during the game were all on goal.
• Logan Peck finished with 12 saves and Solomon Bonane, Reese Tomporowski and Hector Harris were credited with Hilbert's three shots on goal.

The Hawks travel to Erie, Pa. this weekend when they play their final road game of the season against the AMCC league-leaders, Penn State Behrend.  The undefeated Lions (5-0) welcome Hilbert on their Senior Day beginning at 4:30 pm.
