KEUKA PARK, N.Y. - The undefeated Keuka Wolves (7-0, 1-0 NEAC) earned a 25-0 victory over Hilbert College in women's lacrosse this afternoon.
The Wolves pulled off the gas peddle in the second half after building a 16 goal advantage by intermission.
Hilbert's
Nicole Darrow finished with 13 saves against 45 shots in the full 60-minute game.
Sam Lawicki  led the Hawks with three caused turnovers, four ground balls and won three draw controls. Â
Alayna DeFazio also scooped four ground balls, and was credited with a pair of caused turnovers.
Lawicki and DeFazio worked for both Hilbert shots.
Keuka bettered the Hawks in ground balls (26-15), draw controls (22-5), and went 9-for-11 on clears while holding Hilbert (3-for-18).
The Wolves, who collected 17 assists on their 25 goals, went 1-for-2 on free position shots.
Hilbert (0-4, 0-1 NEAC) returns to Hamburg late this afternoon and then will cross the skyway tomorrow for their second NEAC game, and a Buffalo Cup contest, at D'Youville College's Dobson Field.
