BUFFALO, N.Y. – Hilbert's Ashley Repine posted double figure kills but the Hawks suffered a 3-0 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference loss at Medaille College in women's volleyball tonight. 

The Mavs (2-1 AMCC) earned a 25-9, 25-15 and 25-16 straight-set, Buffalo Cup victory over the 0-3 Hawks. 

Medaille held an edge in kills (30-22) with better hitting percentage (.247 vs. .023).  Additionally, Hilbert awarded 12 points to the hosts off serve receive errors which contributed to the final outcome.

Repine collected 10 kills (.316) and seven digs along with three assists and three solo blocks.

Torianna LeWand chipped in six kills and led with eight assists and six digs.  Sierra McLaughlin added seven digs.

Hilbert returns to the Hafner Rec Center this Saturday and will host La Roche College September 30 at 1pm.  Fans are encouraged to make a trip to Hamburg and are welcome to participate in all the fun activities the Alumni Office has planned for the annual True Blue Weekend celebration.
