HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Hilbert College women's volleyball team returns to action this weekend when they travel to Brockport for the Golden Eagle Invitational Tournament Friday and Saturday, September 16 and 17.

Hilbert will battle right out of the gate when they face SUNY Canton at 4p in the Jim & John Vlogianitis Gym in the Tuttle North building. They then get a break for one match to prepare for their 8pm game against Lycoming College Friday night.
The following morning, Hilbert returns for an 11 am contest against the University of Mount Union and they will close the weekend with a 3pm, non-conference event with Medaille.
After earning their first victory of the season (3-0) against SUNY Delhi, the Hawks are on a three game skid. They suffered a five-set loss to Marietta, a four-set defeat to Keuka and dropped three to Hiram.
Five different players have posted double-digit kills with seniors
Amanda Binder and
Serena Tecl reaching for 20+. A pair of freshman follow closely behind (
Ashley Repine, 18, and
Torianna LeWand, 16) and third-year eligible
Morgan Ott, a split hitter and setter, chips in 16 kills.
Sophomore
Kamalei Lene has earned 47 assists with Ott credited with 38, as the two main setters this season.
Binder, LeWand and Ott lead the Hawks with five service aces each and Repine is on top with 11 total blocks. Junior
Victoria Siracuse has earned 49 digs and owns a 3.27 digs per set stat.
