Chelsea Reischuck was named to the All-Tournament team at the conclusion of the second day.
The Hawks opened their Saturday with a 3-0 loss to Geneseo State (25-20, 25-15, 25-22) and finished with a three-set loss to Elmira College (25-16, 26-23, 25-20). Sophomore
Allegra Johnson led the stats sheet in kills (15), digs (25) and blocks (3). Senior
Shannon Memminger had a combined 46 assists in the six sets (7.67 aps) and freshman
Amanda Binder served up six aces.
Against Geneseo, in the team's third meeting this year, Johnson and Binder each finished with seven kills. Johnson led with 12 digs, followed by Binder's and junior
Jordan Botsford's nine digs. Botsford was credited with three service aces and Johnson led with three solo blocks.
To end the day, Johnson had eight kills with help from Binder and Botsford (six each). Junior
Kayla Lewis contributed 12 digs, one less than Johnson's effort (13) and Botsford and Lewis covered the net with three and two solo blocks, respectively. Binder had five of her aces against Elmira.
The Hawks are scheduled to play at the College of Brockport this week, date to still be finalized.
