HIRAM, OH – The Hilbert College women's soccer team lost a non-conference match in Ohio September 14th as injuries are beginning to take their toll on the team. Hiram College (5-0) booted their way to a 6-0 shutout over Hilbert College (1-3).

Sarah Condon opened the match scoring three, first half goals seven minutes apart for the first 22 minutes. With a 3-0 half time lead, the hosts continued on their push into the second period. In the 82nd minute, Genna Atkins closed out the day with her single score following Kelsey Martin's double scores.

Hilbert struggled to get the ball on the offensive side of the field and were outshot 27-0.

Erin Smith was credited with 21 saves.

The Hawks will rest and prepare for their non-conference double-header game at Thiel College September 19th. The men game begins at 4pm and the women's will follow at 6 pm.
