PITTSBURGH, PA. – La Roche College earned a 3-0 shutout victory over Hilbert College in women's soccer October 26. The RedHawks earned their first league victory with one game remaining on the 2013 schedule.

Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Hawks looked like they were in good shape. Even with the unbalanced shot statistice (La Roche 11, Hilbert 5) the visitors were still in the game.

But in the 77th minute, La Roche broke free for their second score and followed that up less than 150 seconds later with the final tally. The hosts outshot Hilbert in the second half (10-3).

Kaitlyn Layman made 11 saves in the net for Hilbert. Robbi Bailey and Jackie Morgan led the Hawks with two shots on goal each.

Hilbert (3-12,1-7) has one game remaining on their 2013 schedule. They travel to Penn State Behrend October 29th for a 7:30pm game. The Lions secured the top seed in the AMCC play-offs with their 8-0 record.
