ALFRED, N.Y. – The Hilbert College women's volleyball team got back on the track by beating Alfred University and broke their five-game losing skid to claim the non-conference road win.
For the second time this season, the Hawks beat the Saxons, but tonight Hilbert didn't fool around and ended the match after three sets.
Hilbert took sets one and two by identical 25-17 scores before they ended the sweep with a 25-12 win.

Chelsea Reischuck and freshman
Amanda Binder each finished with seven kills, junior
Jordan Botsford added six and sophomore
Allegra Johnson knocked down five.
Of course, senior
Shannon Memminger quarterbacked the club with 26 assists and she and Botsford earned two service aces along the way.
Johnson led with 12 digs while Reischuck added eight and four total blocks.
Hilbert improved to 8-15 overall and now prepare for an all day event in Hamburg this Saturday when Pitt-Greensburg, Penn State Altoona and D'Youville invade the Hafner Center for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference cross-over day.
Hilbert faces Greensburg at 12 noon followed by Greensburg against D'Youville. D'Youville stays on the court and takes on Altoona while Hilbert waits their turn to play Altoona in the last game of the day.
Each team will be allowed to take a standard sixty minutes warm-up session prior to their game which means the 12p/2p/4p/6p start times will not be correct.
